it! This is St Thomas, Ontario!
There is a lot to be said for St Thomas, but not too much of it good if you are shopping for a new city to call home if you belong to the lesbigay community. It is not ALL bad news, London is nearby, with its community, but this city is still very small-town in most ways, and the gay community tends to be quite discreet for the most part. Not that it is a huge issue here, one sets his own limits on freedom, and society seems to pretty much ignore the actions of the individual. We have had no real controversy here (except our slightly out-of-hand alderman) and we have never held any type of lifestyle affirming celebration. We rely on the City of London for these things. |

I guess the biggest reason for this site is to act as a guide for the newbies that I have set up on the 'net. You need to know where to start, and this is a start. I have included many site links on the site- with content ranging from sarcastic humor, to resources for the straight and gay community, and even some smut if you are so inclined. Hey, it's your computer, your credit card and your life, do as you will! ;P |
